We are Cavity FREE!

Today Taylor and Trevin visited the dentist for their cleaning visit. We found this awesome pediatric dentist, before we got there the kids were a little nervous, but they begged to stay when we were done. =) I had to remind them we were in a dentist office, not an arcade. The place was brightly painted, It had a cracked ceiling that looked like a rocket had just been launched through it, huge flowers and stuffed animals decorating the place and about 5 diffrent arcade games. Then as if I wasn't impressed enough by the waiting area, we walked into the back and each little area was a different color , With flowers and stuffed animals everywhere and 2 arcade games for the kids to play as they wait on other siblings. It was impressive. Anyways, the whole reason for this post believe it or not was not to tell you how cool the dentist office was, but to tell how incredibly proud I am of Taylor and Trevin because they were told that their teeth look perfect and they are cavity FREE! Way to go Tay & Trev!!

um...Dad says that NOT ALL of you are cavity free...

Wanna tell us about it?

On another note: your new poll asks how much I spend on each family member for Christmas. Are we talking immediate family or extended family?

For example: I think the most I've ever spent on Dad is $11 for a pair of shoes...on the other hand, if Shawna has anything to say about it, the shoes Alexis gets from us this year will cost something lik $211...

...after looking over the Christmas budget, we've decided that Alexis will be getting the same shoes that we got for Dad...

Um, Well... let's not talk about that. The good book says- "whatsoever things are GOOD think on these things." Thats what I'm trying to do.=)
Shane says the poll is immediate family. Yeah! I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna get Dad this year. I gave him a pair of $11 shoes for Father's Day=)

You guys quit worrying about what to get your dad for Christmas. I have it all worked out already. I over heard him talking, while he slept on my couch the other day. I know exactly what he wants. It took me awhile to find it though. http://www.mcphee.com/items/11761.html

I'm glad the kids had a good time at the dentist. Cory got baby bottle tooth decay and that turned into a nightmare for everybody.

He screamed bloody murder at the dentist. Literally. Then to a specialist and he was sedated to work on his teeth. Then later for follow up work, you couldn't get him into the building.

I wonder if that dental office would have made a difference.

Snowed almost 2 feet Saturday. Jamie and I shoveled most of it up and didn't finish because another 1 was due. It was snowing about 2 inches an hour at one point and we would go over what we just did. We got the driveway shoveled so Kim could get the car in after work.

To our dismay, the next morning Sunday expecting another foot of very easy powder shoveling, it rained instead. Now we have 1' of slush. What a mess.

This morning, it's almost 50 degrees. I think summer is on its way :)
